Christmas Camp Focus
Levereging 3 Main Components For Winning Battles
Winning battles isn’t luck — it’s skill, awareness, and compete level working together. This camp builds each of these components so players can create separation, outsmart opponents, and perform with confidence in game-speed situations.
Camp Foundation
Learn to Win Battles & Make Plays
Our Christmas Break Camp is built around one goal: helping players become more valuable to their team. That starts with learning how to win puck battles — and turning those battles into plays. Across 5 intense days, players will develop the core tactical and technical skills that lead to puck possession, creation, and trust from coaches.
WINNING BATTLES
Players learn how to shield the puck using body positioning, edge control, and stick placement, allowing them to maintain possession under pressure and create time and space in tight areas.
We break down the mechanics of winning loose pucks—reading the play, timing the approach, and using efficient body angles—so players recover pucks quicker and turn battles into opportunities.
Players develop the ability to steer opponents into disadvantageous areas, using smart footwork and stick positioning to control space, reduce options, and separate the puck effectively.
Players learn safe, efficient contact mechanics—how to deliver and absorb checks, win physical battles, and use body positioning to gain an advantage without losing speed or control.
MAKING PLAYS
Turn possession into real chances by reading pressure, scanning for options, and creating high-danger passes in motion.
We teach game-ready deception and movement patterns that help players beat defenders, change direction aggressively, and create separation in both open ice and tight spaces.
We focus on opening shooting lanes, attacking with purpose, and using quick-release mechanics to generate high-quality scoring opportunities under pressure.
