Terms & Conditions

Player Registration & Participation

  • All players must be registered in the RHA Player Management System to secure a spot for any RHA Hockey Academy service.
  • Players must provide accurate information regarding their level and age group during registration. Providing false information may result in the cancellation of participation without a refund.
  • Online registration is mandatory for all RHA services. No participation is allowed without prior registration.

General Booking Information

  • Your participation is confirmed via email, text message, or phone call.
  • Any outstanding monetary issues (e.g., cancellation fees, unpaid program charges) must be settled before a player is allowed on the ice, unless otherwise approved by the Head Instructor or Program Coordinator.

Camp Cancellation Policy

  • Refund Requests: If a refund is requested, a $50 administration fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  • No Refunds Within 2 Weeks: Refunds will not be available within 14 days of the camp start date.
  • Finding a Replacement: If a refund is requested within 2 weeks of the camp start date, the player may find a replacement. However, the replacement must:
    • Match the required age group and skill level
    • Be approved by RHA staff before finalizing the transfer

Summer Camp Credits

  • Please Note: Credits are only provided if a replacement is found. Credits are not available for missed camp dates due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons.
  • RHA Assistance in Finding a Replacement: RHA Hockey Academy will attempt to find a replacement from its waiting list or other inquiries. If a replacement is successfully found, a credit will be issued.
  • The credit must be used by the end of the each summer camp season.
  • If the credit is issued during the last week of the camp, it will be transferred to a weekly skills program and must be used by the end of the calendar year.

Private & Semi-Private Training

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another player. The replacement player must have comparable abilities and meet the program requirements.
  • If you are unable to attend and cannot find a replacement but provide at least 24 hours’ notice, a 30% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Sessions missed with less than 24 hours’ notice or without notification will be charged the full session fee.

Weekly Skills Clinics

  • If you are unable to attend a confirmed weekly skills clinic and provide at least 24 hours’ notice, RHA will attempt to fill your spot.
  • If RHA is unable to find a replacement, the full session fee is required.

Non-Refund Policy & Credit Usage

  • RHA Hockey Academy has a non-refund policy for services unless stated otherwise.
  • Skate credits may be issued for missed sessions under exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical reasons, with a doctor’s note).
  • Issued credits are non-transferable and valid for two (2) months from the issue date.

Media Policy

  • No video recording or photography of any equipment, programs, sessions, participants, or instructors is permitted without authorization from RHA Hockey Academy.
  • Violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion from all RHA events.

Participation Policy

  • Participation cannot be shared between multiple players under any circumstances.
  • Players who fail to comply with RHA policies may be removed from programs without a refund.
